La Zarzuela, Inc was created in 2020 by a group of zarzuela enthusiasts inspired by the work of  Pro-Arte Grateli, the organization that for almost fifty years kept alive the art of zarzuela in Miami.

The mission of La Zarzuela, Inc. is to revitalize the art of zarzuela through a season of innovative productions, educational activities, and research projects, while celebrating and promoting Spanish American culture within the Miami-Dade community and beyond.

Our organization has produced over thirty performances to-date, presenting fully staged updated zarzuela productions, semi-staged productions, and recitals at the Miracle Theatre, the Manuel Artime Theater, the Manuel Artime Community Center, the Goodlet Theater, the Seminole Theatre, the Coral Gables Museum, and the Miami Dade Public Library.
